Mecha

As someone who's always enjoyed reading books like the Star Trek Technical Manuals, I've had the idea of fleshing out the old ships section of SFXB for a while. One of the stumbling blocks was what to call the new section. When I asked for ideas on the forum, Justin Palmer suggested I use "mecha". He pointed out that while the term is frequently used in reference to the giant robots appearing in Japanese anime and manga, the term actually covers any mechanical design appearing in such a series.

So, with thanks to Justin, problem solved! These pages will try and capture all the ships, vehicles and anything in between that appear in Star Fleet and provide a little commentary on them as well as pictures of them in action. If anyone can come up with any I've missed let me know and I'll see if I can slot them in...
